Free pasture meat raised in a sustainable way
The cattle are raised free to pasture and moved and checked on horseback, guaranteeing them a life as natural as possible. The basic diet is grass that is supplemented with a minimum amount of cereals produced on the farm without the use of pesticides or chemicals.
"Our meats are carefully selected, matured by profession and cut by the expert hands of master butchers".
Philosophy: Ethics, breeding, ecology and sustainable agriculture are the cornerstones of the production of this company
History
Ethics, breeding, ecology and sustainable agriculture are the cornerstones of the production of this company. The main concept of the breeding philosophy is low stress handling, that is, raising livestock according to natural rhythms, creating the least possible stress for the herds. A way of doing animal husbandry that in reality is nothing more than a return to the past, to ancient traditions, but with modern techniques, knowledge and management.e.
Natural breeding for genuine beef
“We refuse - says Riccardo, the owner of the company - to stockpile and confine our animals in stables and sheds and feed them with fattening feed or animal meal. The heads are left free to graze and moved and checked on horseback. The staple food is grass which is integrated with a minimum amount of hay and cereals ".
Large intensive farms are not used: the animals still live free on the pastures today like a thousand years ago. Following the seasonal rhythms, the herd is moved to pasture ensuring them the best available grass offered from that particular period of the year.
